Trinity Lutheran Church of Sparta welcomed Pastor Josh Buzbee as their new Senior Pastor, on July 1, 2023.
​
Pastor Josh graduated with a BA in Theology from Valparaiso University in 2011 and attained his Masters of Divinity from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago in 2015. He previously served as Vicar at All Peoples Gathering Lutheran Church in Milwaukee, W; as Pastor at Our Redeemer Luther Church in Indianapolis; as a Chaplain Resident at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN; and as Associate Pastor at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Downers Grove, Illinois.

Pastor Josh brings with him a wealth of experience working with youth and their families, teaching kids about stewardship and discipleship, as well as offering support to those in mental distress.
He has gifts in pastoral care and has compassion for all people.
​
He loves music and singing and has interests and gifts in drama and acting.
He enjoys competition, video games, and board games.
