The proposal to install Solar Panel Energy at Trinity Lutheran Church in 2025 was approved at our Annual Meeting.

Our current electric energy monthly payments are between $800 - $1,000 a month. This equates to about $10,000 a year. Solar panels involve only a one time cost during installation, and then a minimized local electrical fee, and with the proposed plan, we would break even on our current monthly electric costs in just over 2 years. Facilities run by Solar power tend to notice much more energy efficiency.  This is because solar panels are much more efficient at converting sunlight into electricity than conventional sources.

Switching to solar power is not only financially beneficial but is also environmentally beneficial. Solar energy does not produce any air pollution or toxic emissions. This will reduce Trinity's carbon footprint as we do our part in fighting against climate change. 

By investing in solar energy, we would be demonstrating our commitment to environmental sustainability.
